Dallas Restaurant & Bar

Wagyu Burger

Dallas’s affordable set lunch has always been well-received by executives working at CDB area. The reviews on hungrygowhere are pretty positive as well. It took me more than a year to finally try it out despite the fact that I’m always in the vicinity. I came here for one reason – to try out their wagyu beef burger that many had raved about besides their famous ribs. Right now they have a Christmas set lunch & dinner which are both available till end of December. 2-course set lunch is priced at $19++ and 3-course set dinner at $29++. You may wish to check it out here.

Frankly speaking, both starters were mediocre and rather ordinary. I shall skip directly to the wagyu beef burger - the savior of the meal.

Oh man, this is seriously an excellent burger. Thick and juicy beef patty was done medium-well. It was so tender with a nice smoky flavor especially with the barbecue sauce and caramelised onions. The burger bun was toasted evenly and it went really well with the quality beef patty. The fries were pretty tasty as well, crispy and well-seasoned. I want more, and more of it!:D

I didn’t manage to have any desserts as I was pretty full after the meal. Or rather, I was extremely full. Next time probably!

Oh, by the way, if you are adventurous enough, you may wished to challenge yourself with The Dallas Beast Burger ($38) - A whopping 500-grams of char-grilled prime beef stacked with bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and mayonnaise, served on an enormous 9-inch sesame seed bun (description from Dallas's website). Who knows? You might just be the next winner of the beast burger challenge! ;)

Hey you have a great blog too. The pictures are fantastic. The starters look so appetizing even if they tasted bad. Are they open on the weekends. Pity i don't work in the vicinity.
